EkoHaul is helping decarbonize trucking using an innovative trailer-top solar + battery solution. Our system can be retrofit onto any hard-top, long-haul semi-truck and helps reduce or eliminate unnecessary engine idling during overnight parking, waiting for loading/unloading, or during congestion.

No moving parts helps reduce downtime and system maintenance cost. Eliminating overnight idling can save between 5,000-15,000 USD per truck per year, depending on use case and duty cycles. Using our system avoids tens of tons of CO2 emissions per truck annually. Each hour of engine idling avoided saves the equivalent of 40-80km of highway driving, reducing wear and tear on the engine and increasing maintenance intervals.

Our system includes real-time telemetry data, available online and on mobile, which allows you to view the system's key parameters and metrics (e.g., battery temp, power produced, diesel saved, etc.).
